About Keith "KJ"

On December 30th, 2023, we sadly lost Keith Jhay Frierson, a lively kid who was taken too soon while having a simple bike race with another child. Keith, fondly called KJ, was born on September 1st, 2013, to Brittani and Cecil Ray Frierson Jr. He was known for his happy and funny personality, making him a favorite among family and friends. Attending Hazel Strauch Elementary, Keith was a good friend and a caring student. He loved playing with his brother, Cecil Ray Frierson III, and kept his mom entertained with his energetic spirit and jokes. Besides enjoying sports at school and with friends, he dreamed of being an influencer and a Police Officer. Keith's warmth and humor left a mark on everyone he met. As a cherished son, brother, and friend, he was loved by many. He is survived by his mom Brittani, brother Cecil, sisters Rayna and LaRaya Frierson, maternal great-grandma Benita, maternal grandparents Rhonda Ladd and William Charles, paternal grandma FOXY, and various uncles and aunts. He is now with his father, Aunt Ashley, and Aunt Joy in heaven.

Since Keith's passing, life has felt dimmer without his bright light. We miss him a lot, but we're determined to create a world where such sad events don't happen. In remembering Keith, we strive to make sure kids can play freely and happily, without any worries.
