Since the original investigation, Kristian has maintained his innocence, and has been the victim of a corrupt investigation and lies throughout. We appealed against the white wash regarding Mr Straughn, and were promptly given an appointment with one Richard Barnes, a senior probation officer working at the Probation service's head office in Manchester.
August 2009, The prison probation officer I mentioned previously, also informed me I would have to stay in a hostel upon release, as I present a “high risk of harm to my son” ,my at the time, 1 year old son.
I think the problem I had, and the reason why I couldn't believe what was going on, and why people like Danielle Buckley could break the law and behave as she was with impunity, was this; I was brought up to believe certain things....
Buckley remained defiant that I should stay in a hostel upon release. Mind you, her superiors had told her to “stand your ground with him”. Without any lawful reason, or evidence, and despite evidence to the contrary, I was not allowed home. I had now spent 10 and a half months away from my wife and son
My trial “defence” team, Russell Jones and Walker (RJW), was “appointed” to me upon my arrest. I had no say, I wasn't asked, I was told my solicitor had arrived at the police station. Apart from that breaching my basic human right of being allowed legal representation of my choosing, I had no idea then that it was already too late.

Whilst in prison Kristian adapted a famous song by Johnny Cash: Fulsom Prison Blues. We are sure the great man in black would have heartily approved. One day when he has the time maybe he will record it and do a video for Yuo Tube. Who Knows?
