Oh where oh where art thou?
The regular readers of this site, will be aware of the strong feelings that the Abbott family have, about the totally inadequate defence provided for their son Kristian, by the then newly qualified solicitor Joanne Stephens and the barrister Charlotte Crangle, both in the run up to and during their son's trial in 2008.
After a Freedom of Information request to the IPCC regarding correspondence between the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) Professional Standards Branch (PSB) and the IPCC, information has come to light that shows that GMP PSB are completely unfit for purpose.
As yet another crisis hits Greater Manchester Police (DNA Cock Up) we have to ask whether or not GMP are Fit For Purpose especially coming straight after the shooting of an apparently unarmed man near Warrington.
Rumours have reached us that those doughty performers of Bury C.I.D. have been snooping around members of the Abbott family and their relations back in good ole Britain.
In this long running saga of David Abbott's complaint against Peter Fahy, the Chief Officer of GMP, David has turned to the Courts to try to overturn the bizarre decision by the IPCC to grant dispensation to the GMPA from investigating Fahy. We say bizarre because it was the IPCC who told the GMPA to record the comp[laint after they had spent so long refusing to do just that. In telling the GMPA to record the complaint the IPCC said that the complaint was valid and should be recorded. The IPCC then turned round and changed their mind when asked by the GMPA for dispensation from investigating the complaint due to it being "vexatious and oppressive and being without foundation".
As 2011 draws to a close, I find myself asking where has this year gone? It seems to have been eaten up completely. We are currently no further on in our quest for Justice, still banging our heads against walls and still having to fight through institutional corruption and arrogance.
Once again the Manchester Evening Lies and Fahy combine in another cheap publicity stunt to get Commandant Le Farce's name in the press. On the flimsy pretex of a freedom of information letter about the usage
of social networking sites by GMP coppers. This from the man who has every sub division tweeting all day about operational matters.
