An update just in from David Abbott. He tells us that the GMPA have suddenly decided to take his complaint seriously and are going to provide him with a substantive answer to his letters whatever that means.
David Abbott has told us that the GMPA have written to him last week and said that they are looking into his complaint against the Chief Constable of Greater Manchester Police. Whether or not this will be just another red herring or another way of wriggling out of their duties only time will tell. David has told us that in recent letters to the GMPA, he has asked them to ask the Chief Constable Peter Fahy, to get an outside force in to look into his complaint. According to David so many senior officers have now tried to fob him off over the last 4 years with what can only be described as illegal excuses, that he could not see anyone at GMP conducting a fair and open investigation. One Chief Superintendent back in 2009 actually said that neither GMP or the GMPA were going to talk to David anymore. Just shows how independent the GMPA are when the cops do their talking for them. Hey Ho watch this space you never knowmaybe in the light of all the cuts the GMPA will suddenly have an outbreak of conscience and integrity. What???? wash your mouth out.
